About

In addition to acting, Saxon has written multiple screenplays and is now making her directorial debut with Coffee Shop Girl. She was originally hired by one of the film’s investors to write a romantic comedy that would both showcase the actors music and tell an uplifting story with meaningful character arcs. Her goal in writing the script was to inspire audiences while also pulling back the curtain on the music industry and the pursuit of stardom as a young artist.

Partway through production, when the original videographer/director departed, Saxon was unanimously voted by the cast, crew, and producers to take over as director on the third day of filming. Stepping into this role, she brought her deep understanding of the script and her creative vision to life behind the camera, guiding the project to completion.

With Coffee Shop Girl, Saxon blends her years of experience in front of the camera with her growing voice as a writer and filmmaker, establishing herself as both the creative force behind the story and the director who brought it to the screen.
